People in Glass Houses

People in Glass Houses Architect Firm for Sims3 houses.

This all started thanks to my daughters who play Sims3. I spent lots of time fixing up houses for them or building custom homes for their familes within their games. Then I started playing and did not like that most of the houses did not have enough rooms for larger families. So People in Glass Houses Architect Firm started. My oldest told me I should make a blog for other Sims3 players to be able to see the houses I make so they can download them as well. So here it is.

These are all either Custom Made Homes or In Game Remodeled Houses. Not a lot of cheats used on them and all are playable houses. Hours of game play in our own games. They come fully furnished and decorated. I also will be adding into this blog a few other things I have built in some of the games like a Nectary, parks, and a few houses my daughter's have built as well. Hope you enjoy them and they work for you in your games.

The Plumb~tastic Bungalow 2500 Pinochle Point, Sunset Valley LOT SIZE: 40x40

Andrew Plumb a professional athlete fell in love with this small house since he drove past it daily on his way to Llama Memorial Stadium where he worked. Andrew was constantly talking to his wife Savannah Plumb, famous adventurer, author, and ghost hunter about this little bungalow. Savannah would see it as well when she would attend Andrew's games he played in. She honestly never really understood his attraction to that beat up old house.

The house was located at 74 Landgrabb Ave in Sunset Valley right at the base of the hill the stadium is located on. The house over the years had become boarded up and abandoned but even then it never lost it's charm to Andrew. Eventually, Andrew was able to track down the owner of it. He asked to buy the little neglected house and was thrilled when they told him "yes!"

That is when we received a call to see about renovating it for them and their four children. They also asked about it being moved to the larger lot they owned off Pinochle Point. After some final checking of the foundation we were able to move this classic little house they loved and started on the renovations!!!

The Plumb Family requested more bedrooms for their children, a Butler's room, an outside area for Andrew since he is Outdoorsy, room for displaying Savannah's treasures from her travels, and Security from those pesky paparazzi. They also did not want to lose any of the charm this little house had because that is what they loved so much about it. It took time and adding a lot of square footage but we were able to fulfill all their wishes and of course we fully decorated and landscaped as well for this wonderful family.

House Description: It use to be a 2 bed. 2 bath. house.

With a front porch for enjoying summer evenings this classic mission home is both practical and homey.

House now boasts 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

The 1st Floor is an open floor plan which includes, the kitchen, dining area, family room, with a bay window reading nook. Also located on this floor is the Master Suite that has a large bathroom with laundry area, walk out access onto the huge back deck perfect for entertaining, and a Butler's Room with an attached 3/4 Bathroom.

The 2nd Floor features 4 large bedrooms, a loft sitting area, and one full bath with two private toilet rooms.

Decor is more neutral in coloring to allow all the treasures and artwork the family has collected in their travels to stand out and make a statement.
